"Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus" Review by John Kauffman

Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus is the autobiographical account of a dedicated Muslim who is eager to  know
God. Living in America, Nabeel Qureshi enjoyed sharing his faith with Christian friends and was disappointed that so many were unable to defend their faith.

Then he met David who challenged Nabeel with historical evidence for Jesus’ death and resurrection as well as Jesus’ claim to be God.

As you read Nabeel’s story, you will be introduced to an Islamic worldview from the inside and will gain an appreciation for some major differences between the East and the West. Especially moving is the account of his family’s reaction to his conversion.

According to Ravi Zacharias, “This is truly a ‘must-read book’ for our times as world views face the test of truth.”

New Book Coming on Sunday!

An exciting new book, The Four Blood Moons, will be in the library on Sunday.  Dr. John Hagee has written this intriguing book about the  four total eclipses of the moon  with a solar eclipse between numbers 2 and 3.  Those eclipses which are occurring in the next 16 months are only the fourth time in recorded history where this sequence has occurred.  The previous 3 sequences have been times when major events have happened to the Jewish nation. Acknowledging that only God knows when Christ will return to take His people home, Dr. Hagee believes that perhaps this ecliptical sequence could possibly be when Christ returns.  This is a well written book which should evoke the searching of Scripture and good discussion between believers and non-believers.

"Becoming Oliva" Life Saving Fiction

First thing, if you hover your cursor over the book cover on the shelf above it will say that this is book three in a series- Don't let that stop you from reading this! I didn't even realize it WAS part of series until after I read it. The author gave us this title and we don't have the first two in the series. Having said that,"Becoming Oliva" is one of those books that stays with you and touches you on so many levels . "Olivia “Libby” Marsden has the perfect life...good kids, a wonderful husband, and a strong Christian faith. Why then is she increasingly depressed?" The storyline follows Oliva through her battle with ever deepening depression while trying to hide it from everyone in her life. We get to see how it effects her and her family. Written with excellence in a way that only one who has faced the battle herself can. The author has been told more than once that "Your book literally saved my life". It gives hope to those afflicted and insight to friends and family members of those struggling. I highly recommend it. Review by Libby S.
